Did a groove on 93 Mazda with a 2.2 Liter engine fuel mileage was on average 27 MPG will have to see what happens with this one. Throttle body is easy to get at, the idle air is already located away from the groove area only the PCV hose had to be rerouted, checked vaccum on intake manifold while running tested at 18 psi or hg whatever you call that. Will try and post mileage results later

At that level of vacuum (hg, inches their all good :) )
you should get a good response from the engine. Can you get
load and fuel trim readings at some point, It would be interesting to see the ecu
solution.

Good stuff

Hi Karl
This here truck does not have the plugin port so I'm unable get those reading or I would have I will be watching fuel milage for now. It has more power that I know after going to work and back today. This throttle body has the coolant running through it and warms it up thus ecm will cut back on fuel.

Hello Aaron, I like your name!

This will be an interesting vehicle to see respond to the groove.

Tell me something, does this engine have 2 spark plugs per cylinder?

My dad's pickup does, but he won't let me touch it. It gets 30 mpgs already, it would be a fun one to groove.

Keep up the good work, look forward to working with you and getting to know you more.

Aron,

Is this the same engine used in the Ford Rangers? If it's the 2.5 with dual plugs, it matches the one truck that registered 100+ MPGs!

Your dad may want to rethink his position...
