I will be grooving my 2002 Olds Silhouette soon. Any words of wisdom - pit falls, clearence issues, etc. After going through a number of topics, I am SO looking forward to this - might dispel some of the pesimism regarding alternative fuels I have encountered.

There is nothing better than just DIVING INTO THE DEEP END!

Just kidding, Scott!

There's a bracket that holds the TB up on the front, and it's a little difficult to wrangle out because you can't get to the bottom bolt. It's behind the exhaust piping. Simply remove the plug to the TPS, then the bracket to TB bolt, and take a large screwdriver and pry it out a little.

Then, as you begin to slide the TB out, you will have to move it again.

It's not too bad. Just be careful around the TPS or you may wind up replacing it!

ENJOY!
