It is January the 3rd and my dear friend John Bray brought me his daughter's 2003 Impala

to be grooved.

Before I started this groove I hooked up scanner and got a few codes that lead me to

believe the egr was bad.

After removing the throttle body I found out the passage from the egr to intake was

plugged with charcoal substance. After soaking it in carburetor cleaner for 30 minutes

out passage with compressed air.

Continuing on with groove I also did the same thing on throttle body gasket I have

done before by reducing it to 1/4 the oem size.

When I went on test drive the engine ran like a new engine.

Throttle was snappy and had increased horsepower dramatically!!!

I hope there are many more Impalas to do in the future.

Talked to John's daughter and she thinks car has gone from 17mpgs to nearly 36 mpgs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have we convince to the world that a little groove makes a huge difference yet.
